Music

Deep love for history, place, and the emotional power of song.

Writing

From the windswept bluffs of Prince Edward Island to the spa towns of post-Soviet Slovakia, my love of storytelling was born from a childhood spent living inside books and history. Ever since Anne of Green Gables first captured my heart, writing has been both a calling and a way of seeing the world—through curiosity, imagination, and deep respect for the past. Over the years, my passion for history, music, and uncovering human stories has grown into a lifelong pursuit: to create vivid, life-giving narratives that connect us to one another and to the places we come from.

About Kathleen

A California native, Kathleen's music is a collection of poetry and storytelling that reflects life and love on the Central Coast of California. Pulling from the traditions of old-school country music, early-American folk and gospel, and singer-songwriters such as Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Josh Ritter, and Allison Krauss, Kathleen’s clear and tranquil voice and lyrics combine to create a fresh and soulful style of Americana-folk.

"Emotive intelligence, place-setting compositions and a gorgeous silky voice are Kathleen's greatest allies. Powered by a quiet urgency, I imagine most of her songs as the backdrop for cathartic moments in dramatic film or love stories performed on the stage"

- Ryan Spaulding, Boston Music Critic "Ryan's Smashing Life"
