Emotive intelligence, place-setting compositions and a gorgeous silky voice are Kathleen's greatest allies. Powered by a quiet urgency, I imagine most of her songs as the backdrop for cathartic moments in dramatic film or love stories performed on the stage

Kathleen Sieck and The Paradise Road have been performing on the Central Coast for the past several years and are a beloved local band in the Santa Barbara area.

The Paradise Road is Kathleen Sieck (vocals/guitar/keys), Jason Gonzalez (multi-instrumentalist), Aaron Campos (bass), and Austin Beede (drums).

Dos Pueblos Album Cover

Dos Pueblos

Dos Pueblos (2025) leans into The Paradise Road's passion for folk music, with highlights that include the eponymous folk tale of Dos Pueblos, two Chumash cities north of Santa Barbara, as well as "Dark Won't Take Me Down", a tribute to the working-class people of the Great Depression. Other highlights include "O Savior" and "Lucky One".

Antares Album Cover

Antares

Antares (2025) is a collection of the Paradise Road's live music, with similarities to twentieth-century artists such as Van Morrison, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Linda Ronstadt, and Fleetwood Mac. Dark tones of "L.A. in the Rain" evoke a classic late-night cafe scene with a rain-streaked Hollywood Boulevard. "Antares" is a sweeping cinematic love song, while "Anthem" has a band-driven looseness of a Saturday afternoon. Silver Moon, another album highlight, is Elvis Costello meets Johnny Cash in a mariachi ballroom lovesong.
